A dear spiky little chap
ONE of the most charming creatures among the wildlife of this country must surely be the hedgehog.
My parents loved them and at the memorial service of each a collection was taken in aid of the Hedgehog Preservation Society.
At my parents’ home in Haslemere a special hole was cut in the fence to allow Hedgie to visit in the night and enjoy his meal on the back step.
So three cheers for Mark Pritchard, the MP for The Wrekin, who together with his wife rescues the little creatures and looks after them at home. Perhaps he finds them less prickly than the company at Westminster.
