The 47-year-old presented the morning property show for 13 years, before making her departure from the hit series two years ago.
However, the presenter still appears in repeat episodes of the hit BBC series.
Now, during an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Lucy spilled a very surprising secret about herself.
Opening up about her interest in dancing, the star explained she had a background in the sport.
“I went to a dance school so I used to do tap, ballet, modern, jazz. I used to sing,” she divulged.

Explaining that she hoped her background could help her secure a place on Strictly Come Dancing in the future, she continued: “I’m an old stage school kid. Not many people know that.
“That [dancing] is my background, but I’ve got it all in the locker ready to show everyone.”
The BBC One favourite added: “I can actually still do the splits. I’m 47 and I can still do the splits.
“I can dance,” she continued. “I used to be in the dance group.”
Discussing what it was like watching the Loose Women host take to the dance floor, the mother-of-two revealed it had encouraged her desire to take part herself.
“I would go every week and watch her on it,” she spilled. “And I would literally sit there thinking, ‘This is what I want to do, I would love to do this’.
“It really really did show me a show that I know I would just love to do.”
Lucy went on to tease that her own debut in the hit TV show could be imminent.
Spilling all, the star revealed she hoped she would be asked to star in this year’s celebrity line-up.
“Martin has gone off and done I’m a Celebrity… [Get Me Out of Here!],” she recalled.
“It’s my turn now for Strictly Come Dancing.”
Revealing she was “waiting for the Strictly call”, Lucy admitted: “I have been put forward, but it’s not official.
“I am desperate to do that show.”
Homes Under the Hammer airs weekdays on BBC One from 10am.
