The comedy legend, who died at his Liverpool home on Sunday, spoke of his body being old as he approached his 90th birthday back in November.
The man behind the tickling stick died just days after marrying his partner Anne Jones and said his life had been full of love in the poignant chat.
Speaking on the eve of his final run of appearances, Sir Ken said fans no longer left roses and lace handkerchiefs but Fisherman’s Friends as well as elastic stockings.
Looking back at his incredible life, the television star commented: “I’ve enjoyed every second of it — I’ve been very, very blessed. It has been love, the secret.
Inside my skull, my mind and brain, that’s about 18, I think. Or maybe 21
“Love and laughter. My body is old. My bones are old. My big toe is old. I’ve got corns that are old. I’ve got old dandruff. One or two beauty spots, but I can only tell you about those by arrangement.”
Sir Ken continued: “But inside my skull, my mind and brain, that’s about 18, I think. Or maybe 21. I’m so thankful for all the imagination that has been given to me.”
The Diddy Men creator said you have to make a review of your life, before delivering his “autumn statement” during his interview with The Sun.
“Looking back through my life, there’s only really one word that matters — and that’s love,” Sir Ken said.

He added: “I had a wonderful mother and father, brother and sister, fabulous family and wonderful friends. My life really has been one long love life.”
Sir Ken then quipped: “Years ago, when I was quite a lot younger, when I finished the show, beautiful young ladies used to leave a red rose or a lace handkerchief or a love poem at the stage door for me.
“Now all I get are Fisherman’s Friends, elastic stockings and vapour rubs.”
It comes after it was claimed that Sir Ken would get the last laugh, four decades after he was found not guilty of dodging a £1 million tax bill.

He married Anne two days before his death, meaning his new spouse would not pay any inheritance tax.
His fortune is thought to be worth £7.2 million, including the home they shared, where he was born and raised.
Anne shared an emotional message as she broke her silence on Sir Ken’s death, telling press yesterday: “The world has lost a most life-enhancing, brilliant, creative comedian with an operatically trained voice, who just wanted to make people happy.
“He lived to perfect his art and entertain his live and adoring audiences. I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and affection which I’ve already received from dear friends and the public and I thank you all for being here.”
