The Celebrity Big Brother winner has questioned the decision to have former Great British Bake Off stars Mel and Sue at the helm.
The 64-year-old, who hosted the programme between 1995 and 2001, claimed he had never heard of the popular duo.
Jim commented: “They’re not right, they won’t know how to ad-lib. They’re not there to teach them how to bake a f***ing cake.”
The presenter continued: “I don’t know these women, I’ve never heard of them but you need someone that’s going to be able to ad-lib and drive the show along.

“That’s why Bruce [Forsyth] was so good. He drove it along his way,” during an interview with The Sun.
The late Sir Bruce fronted the huge show from 1971 and 1977 and again for four years in 1990.
Larry Grayson took over in 1978 for three years, while both Graham Norton and Vernon Kay have hosted specials.
“He was the energy. You can’t remember any of the people on it, all you remember is Bruce,” Jim went on.

The BBC first announced plans to bring The Generation Game back two years ago, however the newspaper claimed that producers had been forced to cut the number of episodes in half, down to just two.
Jim also revealed who he thought would be a winner, suggesting The Chase favourite Bradley Walsh.
He added: “I think he wants to do it as well. Last time I spoke to him he’s going off being Doctor Who’s assistant.
“But he said to me, ‘I’d love to do the Generation Game’.”

Jim’s remarks come just weeks after he left fans in hysterics with an awkward gaffe on Channel 5’s Bit On The Side.
The comedian - who won the reality series in 2014 - was on the panel alongside Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard, The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman and Love Island finalist Olivia Attwood.
When host Rylan Clark-Neal questioned the star about his views on Rachel Johnson firing topics at Anne Widecombe, he began to ramble on about a different housemate altogether.
Jim stated: ”I think she is when you're a model you get stereotyped, we all know about being stereotyped and [public] perception and I think she wants to speak to Anne and I think she wants to…”
