David Walliams shares ‘text from Kim Jong-un’ as he speaks out after THAT ‘racist’ costume
DAVID WALLIAMS has broken his silence today after sparking outrage with a “racist” Halloween costume this week.

The comedian channelled Kim Jong-un for Jonathan Ross' annual Halloween party on Tuesday night, and today he took to Twitter to poke fun at the backlash he’d received.
The 46-year-old donned a black two-piece suit very similar to ones worn by the leader of North Korea, as well as a wig before partying with celebrity pals in London.
However, David earlier posted a fake message to his 1.97 million followers, jokingly claiming it was from Kim.
“I just got this text,” the Little Britain star started, before sharing a screenshot of their supposed correspondence.

It read: “Hi Dave, loved the Halloween outfit mate! Wet meself laughing. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Kim x.”(sic)
It then added: "PS Can't wait to read Bad Dad,” in reference to David’s latest book.
His attire prompted an outcry from people on the micro-blogging site, who accused him of donning a "yellowface" guise.

It come just days after his former co-star Matt Lucas said certain parts of their hit BBC show would be deemed "too offensive today".
He told the Big Issue: "Society has moved on a lot since then and my own views have evolved.
"Now I think it's lazy for white people to get a laugh just by playing black characters."
