The 47-year-old actress uploaded a video of a series of cute clips from home movies and sweet glimpses into the life of the A-list family.
Referencing the Rolling Stones song, Start Me Up, which she used as a soundtrack to the tribute, Catherine captioned the post: "Don't 'START ME UP' on how much i love you.
"Dylan, you are truly a remarkable young man," she said, adding. "You are the joy of my life. 17 years old today! Happy birthday sweetheart."

The video also gave a rare insight into Catherine's family life with a shot from one of his previous birthday parties, with Dylan joining his parents on the dance floor and showing off his Mick Jagger impression.
Catherine, Michael and Dylan were recently spotted enjoying a family evening out along with Dylan's 14-year-old sister Carys.
The family-of-four stepped out for dinner at Los Angeles hotspot Nobu last month to spend some quality time together.
