George Clooney has spoken out after a French magazine published snaps of his twins
The Hollywood star has threatened a French magazine with prosecution after it published pictures of himself and his wife Amal with seven-week-old Alexander and Ella.
The 56-year-old claimed photographers from publication Voici scaled their fence and a tree at their home in Lake Como, Italy, to obtain the images.
Voici printed the snaps yesterday, claiming they were the first images of the twins to be revealed to the public.
George publicly blasted them last night, saying in a statement: "Over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home.”

Make no mistake, the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted
The actor continued: “Make no mistake, the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The safety of our children demands it."
However, Voici has defended the photos as being in response to "public demand" and said the "public personalities" have widely commented on the twins, according to reports.
"People love George Clooney and have been following his life story for years now. Those pictures do not put in danger Mr Clooney, his wife or their kids," they added.
