The 56-year-old former Britain's Got Talent winner looked confident and happy as she posed for pictures on the red carpet at the Edinburgh International Film Festival screening of the new Morrissey biopic, England Is Mine.
Susan looked glamorous in a floor-length teal number which featured a satin fishtail skirt and three-quarter-length sleeves with a delicate lace overlay on the top half.
The Scottish star was reportedly "hounded by a group of 15 people close to her home", with several said to have hurled burning balls of paper at her, calling her an "old, ugly b***h".
A witness told The Mirror: "They were throwing stones, screaming and shouting things.

"Another time 10 to 15 of them were surrounding and throwing stuff. They lit a piece of paper and threw it at her face," the source continued.
On another occasion, the group surrounded her while she travelled on a bus and began to throw stones at her, according to reports.
Susan was recently pictured in the aftermath of the attacks when she was spotted keeping a low profile outside her house.

Joined by a close pal, Susan managed to raise a smile for photographers, dressed in a casual grey fleece jacket and trousers.
A spokesperson previously stated that the intimidation and abuse had escalated so badly that they were planning to call the police in order to ensure Susan's safety from now on.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, 52, who previously judged the ITV talent contest that catapulted her to fame, lashed out at the "vermin" who harassed the singer, tweeting: "This disgusts me. Vile little vermin."
