Serena Williams’ sister Venus accidentally confirms sex of her unborn baby at French Open
VENUS WILLIAMS has appeared to confirm the sex of her sister Serena’s first child at the 2017 French Open today.
Serena Williams is thought to be expecting a girl
The tennis star seemingly revealed too much during an interview with Eurosport, while her pregnant sibling supported her from the stands inside the Philippe Chatrier court.
The 36-year-old, who comfortably won in her match against Kurumi Nara, referred to the unborn baby as a “she” before going on to suggest female names.
When jokingly asked about the “rumours” Serena, 35, was expecting following her own confirmation last month, Venus did not hold back.
With a huge smile, the athlete commented: “She’s going to call me, favourite aunt,” following her second round triumph.

Speaking about possible titles for the little girl, Venus added: “Of course, every day, we’re like baby V, baby Lyn, baby Esher, we all want the baby to be named after us.”
Serena’s appearance also caused a stir as she happily showed off her growing tum in a white vest, complete with the word ’Nike’ and a smiley face.
She teamed her casual attire with leggings, two-tone trainers and a pretty floral waterproof jacket.

Serena first announced she was going to become a mum by showing off her already sizeable bump on Snapchat.
She was seen posing in a bright yellow swimsuit, which clung to her fuller frame, in the sweet selfie.
Serena, who is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 33, simply captioned it at the time: "20 weeks."
