SERENA WILLIAMS was sure to have her fans on the verge of tears as she shared a heartfelt message with her unborn child on Instagram today.

The tennis ace, 35, reiterated her excitement at becoming a mother for the first time as she thanked her little one for teaching her "the true meaning of serenity and peace".
"My Dearest Baby, You gave me the strength I didn't know I had," she began. "You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can't wait to meet you."
The Wimbledon champion added: "I can't wait to meet you. I can't wait for you to join the players box next year. But most importantly, I am so happy to share with you… once again today.

Serena is currently enjoying a sun-soaked getaway in Mexico with her fiancé Alexis Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit.
The expectant star announced her baby joy with a sweet Snapchat post last week.
Clad in a yellow swimsuit and posing side-on, Serena captioned the snap: "20 weeks."
Despite later deleting the post, the sports star's publicist Kelly Bush Novak later confirmed that she is pregnant with her first child.

Serena previously revealed her family plans last year after first meeting the entrepreneur in 2015.
She told Glamour magazine: "I definitely want to have kids one day. That's always something I've wanted as long as I could remember. And the older I get, the more I'm like, 'I'm too young!'
"Hopefully I'll be able to mature one of these days, get serious, and at least have them pretty fast."
