Greater Manchester Police confirmed 19 people have been killed and around 50 injured in the blast that occurred at the end of her show in the city centre.
They announced the horrific incident - which happened outside the venue in a public area - is currently being treated as a terrorist incident.
And an insider has told TMZ that the 23-year-old singer is “in hysterics” after learning of the devastating news.
The sourced added that Ariana’s concert in London at the 02 Arena on Thursday is up in the air as “she’s in no condition to perform”, in addition to the safety concerns.

Shortly after the deadly blast, a spokesman for the US star revealed she was safe: "Ariana is okay. We are further investigating what happened."
Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of an “explosion” was heard following Ariana’s last performance on stage.
Witnesses flooded social media to show police rushing to the scene and concert goers fleeing the arena.
One person tweeted: "The explosion happened 30 seconds after Ariana got off stage in Manchester Arena, so terrifying."
Another Twitter user posted: "Just been at Manchester Arena and heard a massive bang, saw smoke and everyone just started running and screaming."

The cause of the explosion is still unknown but shocked celebrities have taken to Twitter to comment on the unfolding scenes.
Ant and Dec shared: “Thinking about and praying for everyone at, and around, @ManchesterArena tonight. Be safe. D x.”
Singer Demi Lovato paid tribute to the victims: “Tearing up imagining innocent concert goers losing their lives.. praying for everyone and all #arianators. My prayers are with you Manchester.”
