Pop superstar George Michael dies aged 53
The Wham! singer, who was found dead in his Oxfordshire home on Christmas Day by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, passed away due to "dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and a fatty liver".
Dilated cardiomyopathy is a condition in which the heart's ability to pump blood is decreased because the heart's main pumping chamber is enlarged and weakened.
Myocarditis is a disease marked by inflammation of the heart muscle and has many causes, including viral infections, autoimmune diseases and environmental toxins.
The certificate, obtained by the MailOnline, revealed that a coroner decided that an inquest into his passing was not required as his family reportedly make plans for his funeral.

George's boyfriend Fadi claims that he has been left out of the funeral plans
Fadi said that he believed the funeral should have taken place a long time ago
It comes after Fadi said that the star's family have not included him in the arrangements for the funeral.
When asked about when George will be buried, he told The Sun: "The funeral? I can't give you an answer, everything is being kept quiet.
"I can't tell you about the funeral - it should have happened a long time ago. This has gone on and on. I was in the middle of it all.
"But I don't know anything about the funeral, I really don't know anything. Believe me. It's all so strange."
