THOSE tuning into the BRIT Awards at home last night were left shocked when George Michael’s former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley took to the stage.

The 54-year-old was joined by Pepsi and Shirlie to pay tribute to the late star and while many praised their poignant speech, others were distracted by his re-appearance.
Sporting shaved hair and wearing a purple suit and tie, he looked worlds away from the youngster who performed alongside George in the 1980s.
Following the band's break-up, Andrew left the music industry and became somewhat of a recluse when he began a relationship with Keren Woodward in 1990.
The pair live in Cornwall where they enjoy their anonymity and the quieter side of life after many years in the spotlight.

So, it was no surprise that Wham! fans were taken aback when Andrew stepped out at the BRIT Awards.
Many used to social media to express their shock at the star-studded bash and comment on his look.
