The Harry Potter author - who has been vocal on the American political climate since Trump announced he was running for President - once again wade in on the debate by disparaging Pence on the social networking site.
Following news of President Donald Trump's travel ban, which bars people from seven muslim countries from entering the US for 90 days, Rowling re-tweeted a tweet that Pence had posted back in December 2015, which read: "Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional."
Quoting the Bible, Rowling wrote: "'For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?' Matthew 16:26."

The message quickly garnered over 30,000 re-tweets as well as over 65,000 "likes" between her 9.24 million followers.
Rowling's post quickly sparked debate, with some praising her tweet, while others pointed out that Pence was free to change his mind.
Nevertheless, Rowling hasn't been afraid to hit back at her adversaries, even offering to give one troll a lighter after he suggested burning her books.
"Glad I caught this article on yahoo. I will now burn your books and movies too," he wrote, before Rowling hit back: "Well, the fumes from the DVDs might be toxic and I've still got your money, so by all means borrow my lighter."

Despite the backlash from Trump supporters, J.K. made sure to show some loves for those who were on her side.
"I love you people. Half my timeline right now is pointing out that Harry Potter never turned anyone into a frog & that Hermione was the nerd," she enthused.
The tweet came a day after Rowling hit out at the policy for being outdated, writing: "When I worked for Amnesty International in the 80s, these were the kind of stories told by political prisoners in dictatorships."
