George Michael’s lover blames ‘suicide’ tweets on hacker and says they spent night apart
GEORGE MICHAEL’S boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has spoken out after messages appeared on his Twitter account claiming the late singer “wanted” to die.
Fadi Fawaz has confirmed he did NOT send the upsetting George Michael posts
Fadi has now closed his social media account altogether over the posts, which alarmed fans when they were posted yesterday.
It’s now been over a week since the iconic popstar tragically passed away, before being found in his bed by Fadi on Christmas Day.
"I am shocked with what's going on with the Twitter thing. My Twitter account has been hacked and closed,” he told the Mirror.
"It's a bit scary to be honest. I did not send those tweets. I woke up at 11.30am to the news. I am not going to worry about these things."

The tweets in question had read: “The only thing George wanted is to DIE… he tired [sic] numbers of time to kill himself many times… and finally he managed.”
He also disclosed that he and George did not sleep in the same bed on Christmas night - although did not elaborate as to why.
"I never saw him. I fell asleep in my car and I never saw him that night," he confirmed.
"The police know everything - that's the most important thing."
