US Election 2016: Taylor Swift, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson and more urge fans to vote
AMERICAN voters have been heading to the polls to vote in the heated presidential election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and celebrities have been taking to social media in full force to persuade millions of followers to have their say.
Celebrities encourage fans to go out and vote
Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway and Emily Ratajkowski were amongst stars taking to Instagram to share snaps of themselves with their voting stickers.
Taylor got out to vote this morning and encouraged fans to follow her lead, with her sharing a snap of herself posing outside the polling station at the end of a long line of people.
She captioned the post: "Today is the day. Go out and VOTE."
Miley - who has constantly bombarded her fans with messages in support of Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump - also took to Instagram to pose with her sticker.
She shared the selfie, alongside the caption: "I voted today for @hillaryclinton. I am so proud of all of you who did the same! #imwithher."

Anne Hathaway then gushed: "Today is #ElectionDay! Have you made your voice heard yet? Check the link in my bio to find out where to vote."
Justin Theroux took to the social media site to say that although he's currently in Germany, he was still going to register his vote via post, while Emily Ratajkowski told her 883,000 followers on Twitter that she had cast her vote.
Other celebrities to have their say included the likes of Kourtney Kardashian, who shared a shot of her niece North West and daughter Penelope, with the message: "For our future, I'm with her."

Katy Perry is a huge Hillary Clinton fan
Kate Hudson posted an incredibly cute snap of herself also posing with an "I voted" sticker, with her grinning for the camera, despite her holding the paper upside down.
Both Katy Perry and Madonna have also been extremely vocal about their love for Hillary, with Madonna sharing an array of posts after performing at a surprise New York rally last night.
Katy also posted a picture of herself at the polling station, with the message: "Throw back to Oct 25th when I gave myself the best bday prezzy ever by voting for my girl @hillaryclinton (also, I'm still in my robe because for just this once, I am early) #stilltimeforyoutovotetho."
