ANGELINA JOLIE and Brad Pitt shocked the world yesterday after they announced their divorce and Madame Tussauds have wasted no time in separating their waxworks.

The London-based attraction took to Twitter today to announce the news that the stars would no longer be stood side by side and fans were quick to take to Twitter to say how devastated they were.
One person posted: "@MadameTussauds but the divorce isn't even final!!!! #Brangelina," alongside three crying emojis.
Another sighed: "Now we can begin the healing process."
Referencing Robert Pattinson in the middle of them both, a different social networker joked: "@MadameTussauds are you speculating Robert Pattinson is somehow involved in this split, or is his placement merely coincidental? #waxscandal"

A Madame Tussauds spokesman revealed: "We reacted quickly to yesterday's news of the separation of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their plans to divorce by mirroring the separation in the attraction.
"The couple's wax figures, which were launched in 2013, have been split up and are now featured at a respectful distance from each other.
"Angelina is keeping Nicole Kidman company and Brad Pitt is with his several time co-star Morgan Freeman."
The waxworks were unveiled in 2013 to mark Brad's 50th birthday.

Following yesterday's news that the couple had decided to call it a day after 12 years, Angelina's legal representative released a statement to ask for "privacy at this time".
Attorney Robert Offer said: "This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."
In a statement released to People Magazine, Brad also commented: "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.
"I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
