Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards 'living in a SHED and surviving off sandwiches' after divorce
BRITISH skier Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards is currently surviving on a diet of egg sandwiches and is living in his shed after his divorce, it's been revealed.
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards confirmed he's been living in his garden shed
The 52-year-old - whose ex-wife Samantha Morton broke up with him in 2014, before they got divorced earlier this year - is said to have lost 85 per cent of his cash after the devastating split.
He's now revealed that he lives on sandwiches while earning extra cash as a plasterer, despite previously being paid £180,000 for a movie based on his life.
Eddie has even moved into the shed in his garden while developing his new home near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
The former ski jumper revealed: “I moved into the shed in my garden while developing my new house. I’ve lived off sandwiches ever since as I don’t have a kitchen.”

A movie titled Eddie The Eagle - starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman - was released earlier this year, but divorce lawyers told him he had to hand over the money he received.
Eddie - who was declared bankrupt in 1992 - told the Sunday Times: “Because we had children, and other factors, I ended up losing 85 per cent. I’m wiped out.”
The latest news comes after Eddie - who has two young daughters with Samantha - spoke out about his divorce earlier this year.

He told The Sun back in March: "It's been the worst two years of my life. The darkest, definitely.
"I wouldn't wish it on anybody. But s**t happens. You've got to think life can give you some bad knocks, no matter how hard you're knocked you've got to get up.
"We are still relatively close and I see the kids as much as I can."
