JIM CARREY has spoken out for the first time since his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White's suicide notes were made public.
Jim Carrey has released a statement about Cathriona White's published suicide note
Cathriona, 30, who was found dead at her Los Angeles home on September 28, is believed to have told the actor she was "not for this world".
Since the reports were released online, Jim has now released a statement, which read: "When I came to Hollywood to make it as a comedian, I soon learned that the details of my private life would be handed out to the media like free dinner vouchers.
"I never dreamed that the people I love most in the world would also be on the menu. What a shame."
According to an LA Coroner's report obtained by the MailOnline, Cathriona died from ingesting a cocktail of prescription drugs.
