Spice Girls reunion CONFIRMED? Band 'planning huge concert at London's Hyde Park'
THEY'VE been surrounded by rumours for months now, but a Spice Girls reunion has finally been confirmed, according to reports.
The Spice Girls are getting ready to celebrate their 20th anniversary
The girls are said to be planning a huge reunion gig at London's Hyde Park in July 2017; but Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm will not be joining them.
The Sun have claimed that Melanie Brown, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton have all agreed to get on board with the project to celebrate their debut single Wannabe turning 21, with the hope that Mel C and Victoria will also agree to take part by next year.
An insider revealed: “Mel B, Emma and Geri agreed Hyde Park would be the ultimate way to launch a reunion next July for their 21st anniversary.
“It gives them a year to plan everything and make sure their comeback is spectacular. It would be the most-talked about gig of the year.”
Three of the girls have reportedly said yes to the huge London gig

Despite the source insisting that just the three girls were planning the gig so far, Mel C hasn't ruled anything out just yet.
She explained: “I am keeping tight-lipped. There are lots of discussions going on. Right now I am in the studio working on my own album and that is my focus. I’m taking it slowly.”
The source also added: “Victoria likes the idea of (her daughter) Harper seeing her just once as a Spice Girl because she wasn’t born for the reunion in 2008.
“It’s a long shot but there’s a chance she would join in at the London date.”

Victoria Beckham is also reportedly considering the gig
The claims come after Emma recently revealed that she struggled to forgive her "sister" Geri for quitting the band back in 1998.
While the two now boast a solid friendship, the radio DJ confessed that she took it hard when Geri left the group because she considered her to be more like family than a friend.
Speaking about their fall-out, Emma, 40, dished: "I was so close to Geri - she was like my older sister."
The mother-of-two, who went by the alias Baby Spice during her time in the band, added to Grazia: "It took me a while to forgive her. We probably didn't speak for about a year."
