Home and Away actor Martin Lynes charged with rape and indecent assault
FORMER Home and Away actor Martin Lynes has been charged with the rape and indecent assault of a woman, who was later admitted to hospital.

The 48-year-old has been accused of attacking the woman, who is thought to be 51-years-old, at his home in Bateau Bay on the New South Wales Central Coast.
He faces nine offences, including,having sexual intercourse without consent and assault with an act of indecency.
According to reports in the Sydney Morning Herald, Martin was also charged with four counts of assault occasioning, actual bodily harm, and three counts of common assault.
However he has since strenuously denied the allegations and told the Daily Telegraph he planned to fight against the charges.

An apprehended violence order was also put in place after the Australian native was arrested on March 1.
Now employed as an estate agent, Martin appeared on the popular Australian soap Home and Away up until 2014. He played criminal Adam Sharpe.
Martin also portrayed Luke Forlano in the local medical drama All Saints.
The star has been granted conditional bail and has been ordered to attend a hearing at Wyong Local Court next month.
Martin is due to face court on April 27.
