RICHARD Branson has been in the wars on a visit to the Cayman Islands.
Richard Branson has been hurt by a stingray and glass door
The Virgin boss posted these grim pictures on Wednesday after being bitten by a stingray and walking into a glass door.
Branson, 65, who campaigns to protect stingrays, was swimming with the animals when the incident happened.
He wrote: "The rays were feeding and mistook yours truly for food. I felt a painful sensation in my wrist - they have one heck of a painful bite!"
Richard Branson said he was smiling despite being embarrassed
After urgent treatment, Branson went to a jewellery store to buy an anniversary gift for Joan, his partner of 40 years.
"I strolled purposefully in, not noticing there was a glass door in the way. Crash! I got a painful cut above my left eye. It was bullet-proof glass," he said.
After three stitches, the tycoon, worth £35billion, added he was "woozy and embarrassed but smiling".
Yesterday, after a tennis match with former pros Anna Kournikova, Mansour Bahrami and Ashley Harkleroad, Branson said: "It certainly made me forget about my injuries, and I'm well on the road to recovery now."
