Duncan Bannatyne responded to a Twitter follower
The 66-year-old then received a message from a follower, which said: "All the more reason to stay in shape #getfit #stayhealthy #diet #gym #LiveLife."
He responded saying, "Very True" and then tweeted a message from his gym groups official Twitter page about a membership offer.
However Sir Terry fans didn't take to the tweet too kindly and called Duncan "tactless" as they accused him of promoting his gym group off the back of Sir Terry's death.
One user wrote: "Yes, because staying fit can cure cancer, right? Tactless."
While another agreed: "He died of cancer not lack of fitness. Poor time for a plug."

"He passed away surrounded by his family. While we understand he will be missed by many, the family ask that their privacy is respected at this time."
