Cate Blanchett waltzes off with yet another award
CATE Blanchett danced her way on stage to receive her latest award.

The Australian actress raised her arms in triumph as she collected her gong at Palm Springs International Film Festival, in California.
Flashing a huge smile, she picked up the Desert Palm achievement award from actress Saoirse Ronan for her role in the film Carol.

Cate, 46, then gave a speech praising those behind the film, saying they had "set the bar so high I don't know where to go as an actress".
She has been tipped to win her third Oscar for the role in which she plays a housewife who falls for a younger woman.
Collecting her trophy, Cate was dressed in a long pale blue embroidered gown by Marc Jacobs. She teamed it with bright red lipstick.

Depp, 52, arrived with his 29-yearold wife, actress Amber Heard. She oozed Hollywood glamour in a long lace Dolce & Gabbana fishtail dress, which showed off her slim figure.
She wore her long blonde hair perfectly curled with plenty of dramatic dark eyeliner.
Johnny went for a black tuxedo and looked a little dishevelled in comparison, with his wild, dark hair and unusual choice of earrings.
Also present were British stars Dame Helen Mirren, 70, looking regal in blue, and Kate Winslet.

Kate, 40, who was one of the presenters of the show, wore a low-cut, long black dress.
She wore her hair in a chic chignon and kept her make-up simple, with nude lips and pretty eyes.
On the red carpet she hugged Johnny, with whom she starred in the 2004 film Finding Neverland.
The pair were so delighted to see one another, they held up each other's arms in celebration.
