Jessie J tricked into sharing 'missing persons appeal' for paedophile Stuart Hall
JESSIE J was targeted by a cruel prankster today who reportedly managed to trick her into tweeting about convicted paedophile Stuart Hall.
Jessie J accidentally retweeted a message about Stuart Hall today
The hitmaker was left red-faced on the same day that the former television presenter was released from Wymott Prison near Preston, Lancashire.
Alongside a picture of the smiling 85-year-old, Jessie's retweeted message read: "Please could we get a RT for missing Stuart Hall he’s 83 he has dementia last seen in Stoke #RT."
The 27-year-old has seemingly realised her mistake and has since deleted the post, which she shared with her 8.35 million followers.
The tweet, sent from an account with the handle @urgentmissing, also attempted to get other celebrities including The X Factor's Lauren Murray, Ronan Keating and Joey Essex to forward it on.

The incident coincided with Stuart - who was first imprisoned in 2013 - being freed after serving half his sentence for sexual abuse.
The It's a Knockout star admitted to indecently assaulting 13 girls - one as young as nine - between 1967 and 1985.
Last May Stuart received an additional 30 months - to run consecutively - for two indecent assaults on another girl.
The singer told her followers she was feeling a little jet-lagged
Stuart, whose full name is James Stuart Hall, said he had endured "a living nightmare" and, but for his "very loving family", may have considered taking his own life.
Following his first arrest, he told police the complainants were all lying as part of "a vendetta going on against people in the public eye".
Express.co.uk has contacted a spokesperson for Jessie following these reports.
