What's happened to Tom Cruise? Actor sports toothless grin as he films new movie Mena
WE MAY be used to seeing Tom Cruise with a million dollar smile, but his grin wasn't looking quite as fabulous as he was pictured on set earlier this week.

The actor, who had braces back in 2002 to straighten his teeth, was pictured sporting a very toothy grin as he shot scenes for his latest film Mena on Tuesday.
Also sporting some bruises on his cheek, the 52-year-old definitely looked like he'd been involved in quite a battle. However, Cruise fans don't fret, because the whole look was all courtesy of the make-up team.
Looking far from red carpet ready, Tom teamed his toothless look with a grubby peach shirt, that was left open at the top, also donning a pair of blue jeans.
Wearing his trademark Ray Bans as he took a break from filming, the actor was pictured smiling away at photographers, not minding who saw him in such a state.

The Mena crew have been busy filming scenes for the new crime thriller in Atlanta, Georgia, this week.
Tom plays pilot Barry Seal in the movie, that's set in the 1980s and inspired by true events.
Seal was a Trans World Airlines pilot who was recruited by the CIA to provide reconnaissance on the growing communist threat in Central America.
However, he soon ends up as a drug runner, with many of the illegal activities taking place in Mena, Arkansas, hence the name of the movie.

The actor may seem fearless when filming dangerous scenes in a lot of his movies, but he admitted in a recent interview that one stunt in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, terrified him.
Speaking at CimenaCon last month, he said: "I was actually scared s***less."
He went on to say: "I was in a harness, on my side, that was kind of loose so you can see the vibration of my body against the plane."
