During filming for the upcoming Clarkson, Hammond and May Live Tour, the ex-Top Gear host posted a snap from the shoot, which saw a seemly dead pooch at the wheel of a vintage car.
The 55-year-old's photo also pictured his former co-presenter James May with a rifle in hand, while dressed in a 1970s-style outfit.
Jeremy, who remained out of shot, captioned it: "No animals were harmed in the making of this Interceptors scene.
"Apart from the dog. Clarkson Hammond and May Live", which has since been favourited more than 8,000 times by his followers.

The presenter was later seen filming a stunt for the trio's live tour
During his outing, the disgraced star got to work on a solo stunt, while James, 52, and Richard Hammond, 45, filmed elsewhere.
Jeremy was seen doing a roly-poly onto a crash mat out of the driver's seat of his dark red Jensen, as the crew filmed.
Complete with fake moustache, the TV regular was in full costume, featuring a black shirt, pink scarf, sunglasses and flared jeans.
The presenters will begin their tour at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on May 22, where they'll play two dates before moving on to the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on June 5.

Meanwhile, the trio have recently been spotted having "secret talks".
Their latest get together was allegedly at the home of ITV director Peter Fincham on Wednesday, according to the Daily Mirror.
Despite the meeting, the channel reportedly insisted that there were "no plans" to negotiate with Jeremy and cover a new show.
