THEY may be the biggest band in the world but it looks as though One Direction are about to face some tough competition…from their own tribute band.

Twitter went into meltdown tonight as Patrick Kielty, Jack Dee, Johnny Vegas, Vic Reeves and Nick Helm teamed up to channel their inner Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik for Comic Relief.
With a gushing introduction from Harry Styles himself, who described the comedians as "the greatest One Direction tribute band of all time" – 'No Direction' was born.

Complete with trendy make-overs and plenty of dad dancing, the five grown men swaggered and sang their way into Comic Relief history with their rendition of 'Best Song Ever'.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to join in with the No-D hysteria – and there was plenty of love for the man band online.
One viewer wrote: "Omg best thing ive seen all night #NoDirection
Another added: "Would genuinely buy tickets to go see No Direction!! Love @TheNickHelm that little bit more now! #ComicRelief #nodirection."

Someone else tweeted: "Oh my Good God! The best boy Band ever!! #NoDirection Some great moves and plenty of dad dancing! #ComicRelief."
However, proving you can't please everyone, Piers Morgan was among the naysayers as he tweeted: "Was that supposed to be funny? #NoDirection #RND15
