Clint agrees with American Sniper critics!
WHILE it is not unusual for a film–maker to defend their work in the face of harsh criticism Clint Eastwood has bucked the trend by actually agreeing with his biggest detractors.
Clint has faced a barrage of criticism for his portrayal of Iraqis and the Iraq War in the film
The 84–year–old director's recent film American Sniper has provoked the ire of some who claim that it offers a one–sided and overly patriotic portrayal of controversial US marksman Chris Kyle.
But after staying silent in the face of his critics, including actor Seth Rogen and documentary maker Michael Moore, Clint's response was rather more muted than anticipated: "Well, they are right."
With a worldwide box office of £236million, six Academy Award nominations and celebrity fans including the likes of Michelle Obama, we're sure any further criticism of his film is just white noise to Clint.
