The former footballer was seen stepping out in a shearling flying jacket leaving the 'SNV Food & Wine' shop with several male friends.
Spotted by some eager fans outside the shop, he turned to speak to the ladies before strolling off into the night.
He was later pictured talking to a friend outside a hotel, enjoying a cigarette and laughing to the unknown man under a spotlight.
Wrapping up, he wore a thick jacket and a white t-shirt as he stepped out on what was dubbed the 'busiest night of the year' for bars and clubs across the nation.

While most of the nation celebrated the up-coming arrival of Christmas, Paul steered clear of the parties and enjoyed a night with his friends instead.
It's thought the star was in East London talking over plans for a biopic with film producers.
Those in-the-know are said to already be calling it Gazza – British Raging Bull. It will chart the highs and lows of the 47-year-old’s life, from his football career to his battles with booze.
The fallen star spoke to The Sun in November about his alcoholism, admitting to the paper the only person who can save him from the brink is himself.

He said: "The only person who can save me is me.
"The last couple of times when I’ve relapsed I’ve managed to nip it in the bud quickly."
In October, the troubled legend was sectioned under the Mental Health Act after he began drinking again.
Doctors have warned the star - fondly nicknamed Gazza - he will die unless he stops drinking, and the England great says he realises the potential consequences, saying: "I know it's true."
