James Corden 'set to host The Late Late Show' in the US
JAMES Corden is set to become the host of one of America's best known chat shows, it's been reported.
The 35-year-old comedian and actor is said to be replacing Craig Ferguson on 'The Late Late Show' according to website The Wrap.
Scottish comedian Ferguson announced in April that he would be leaving the show, which he has fronted since 2005.
However, neither Corden nor CBS has commented on the news and are yet to confirm it, but the US website claims to have spoken to someone with "knowledge of the situation".
'The Late Late Show' appears after the 'Late Show with David Letterman' on weekdays, and goes out between 10.30pm and 1am, depending on scheduling and time zones.
It features a mix of celebrities and people who have featured in the news.
If Corden is to join the show, he'll have a rather busy schedule as he is also due to appear soon in Disney's forthcoming musical adaptation of the Broadway play Into The Woods.
