Lucky lady! Cheryl Cole's hubby Jean-Bernard splashes out £10k on red roses
SHE'S never been shy about what a romantic she is, so it seems as though Cheryl Cole has found the perfect partner in Jean-Bernard after he splashed out £10,000 on roses for her.
The wealthy restauranteur is said to have filled The Library members' club - where he and Cheryl invited their friends and family to celebrate their surprise wedding - full of his wife's favourite flowers.
A friend at the party told the Daily Mirror: "The party was very special for Cheryl and JB, it was a chance to celebrate with their nearest and dearest. it was a very small affair.
"Cheryl told the guests how in love she was and Jean pulled out all the stops with hundreds of red roses.
The source added: "He had done a similar thing for her 31st birthday and that went down really well."
Cheryl and Jean exchanged vows on July 7 - after three months of dating - in an intimate ceremony on the idyllic island of Mustique in front of just four people, including Cheryl's PA Lily England and her mother, Joan.
However, the pair arranged a party when they arrived back in the UK so that they could celebrate their big news with the rest of their friends and family.
Those in attendance included Cheryl's best friend Kimberley Walsh, who arrived with her long-term partner Justin Scott and her blossoming baby bump.
The singer - who was in Girls Aloud with Cheryl - spoke of her happiness at her pal's marriage, despite critics claiming it has happened all too quickly.
Taking to her weekly column in OK! magazine, she said: "They called me from the island and I was so happy to hear their news - nobody deserves happiness more than her."
Only a handful of celebrity guests were in attendance at the event on Monday night, including Cheryl's fellow Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, Rochelle and Marvin Humes and photographer Rankin.
Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan and brother Garry Tweedy also attended.
