Jason Alexander returning to Broadway Bound as director
Actor JASON ALEXANDER is set to direct a new version of BROADWAY BOUND, 28 years after he starred in the original New York City production.
The Seinfeld funnyman originated the role of Stanley in Neil Simon's comedy when it first hit Broadway in 1986, and now he will take charge of a new run of the show at Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre.
Alexander says, "Broadway Bound is near and dear to my heart as it was one of my happiest times on Broadway."
The show focuses on two brothers who are determined to break into showbusiness as professional comedy writers.
The run will run from 2 August (14) to 21 September (14).
