Donovan has mellowed, but he still knows how to rock out in New York
SIXTIES singer Donovan shrugged off the years at a gala in New York.
The Scottish-born hitmaker whose songs include Mellow Yellow, Catch The Wind and Hurdy Gurdy Man was being honoured for his songwriting.
After a career in the music business going back 50 years Donovan, 68, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame on Thursday.
His performance showed the same star quality as in his heyday.
Two years ago, Donovan was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
