Cheryl Cole shows off her washboard stomach as she films video for Crazy Stupid Love
SHE'S been away from the music scene for two years, but Cheryl Cole certainly hasn't forgotten how to strut her stuff.
The 30-year-old singer was pictured filming the music video for her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' last week, and she just couldn't resist showing off her abs.
Filming scenes in a warehouse in Hackney, Cheryl can be seen flaunting her washboard stomach in a racy, sequinned crop top and a pair of gold glittering harem pants.
The former Girls Aloud star was all smiles as she showed off her moves with the help of several backing dancers.
The upcoming video, which was directed by Colin Tilney, took 20 hours to shoot and also stars Tinie Tempah.
In one behind-the-secnes shot, Cheryl can be seen gazing into the rapper's eyes with her arm draped around his shoulder.
Speaking last week about the video, Cheryl revealed: "The video isn't what I've done before and in terms of lighting and stuff, it's a bit more grimy! 'Cos the songs quite up, and pop, it's got that feel, so I wanted it to have the urban twist. It's a bit more of that urban vibe."
'Crazy Stupid Love', which is released on July 20, marks the end of Cheryl's two-year hiatus from the charts and comes just before she rejoins the X Factor judging panel.
The single has been described as "a blast of feel-good pop", and will feature on Cheryl's forthcoming as-yet-untitled album which will be released this Autumn.
Speaking about her return to music, Cheryl said: "I'm not nervous. I'm excited. I've been around for 12 years, I've had a long run of it. And so now this is just what I love, it's my passion.
"It's what I've always done. So it's more of an excitement to be back. I've had enough time away to breathe, and really appreciate what I do."
Revealing how she got her washboard abs, the star admitted that she is regularly works out - and actually quite enjoys it.
Speaking to Glamour, Cheryl said: "I do the Tracy Anderson method. I've been doing it for a long time now. It's not easy but if you push yourself through, I love it."
Tracy Anderson, a former dancer and business partner of Gwyneth Paltrow, has produced four exercise DVDs - each of which has sold in excess of 20,000 copies in Britain alone - and a book, Tracy Anderson's 30-Day Method.
"I'm at the point where I enjoy it," added the star.
"A lot of people hate going to the gym or can't think of anything worse but I get up in the morning and I like it - and I eat healthy."
