David and Victoria Beckham buy £40m London mansion after 'selling' Beckingham Palace
DAVID and Victoria Beckham have reportedly sold Beckingham Palace and spent £40 million on a luxury four-storey mansion in central London.
The glamorous couple's new home allegedly has two rooms for Posh Spice's shoes, waterproof plasma TVs in all the bathrooms and an underground garage.
The mansion in the capital also allegedly has a hair salon, a gym and a sound system so music can be played in any room via a phone or tablet.
The Beckhams will reportedly spend an extra £5m on the property which they bought after selling their previous mansion in Hertfordshire for £12m.
A source told The Sun: "They have been working to a new schedule since David retired from football.
"The new place is a project - and a place for the kids, particularly Harper.
"It will be her memories of a childhood home when she is older.
"And what a childhood she is going to have."
David, 38, and Victoria, 39, have four children - 14-year-old Brooklyn, 11-year-old Romeo, eight-year-old Cruz and two-year-old daughter Harper.
The children will reportedly take over the entire second floor which has three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms.
The bottom floor has a small garden for the children while guest rooms on the third floor are also all en suite.
The property also has a tunnel which security staff will use to travel unseen to a second location.
