James Bond author wants Daniel Day-Lewis for spy role
The latest author to tackle literary spy James Bond has revealed he'd like DANIEL DAY-LEWIS to play his 007.
William Boyd recently released the latest Bond novel, Solo: A James Bond Novel, and insists the three-time Oscar winner is a perfect match for his superspy.
The writer says, "He actually resembles the Bond that (007 creator Ian) Fleming describes in the books.
"That's someone who looks like the American singer-songwriter Hoagy Carmichael - a tall, lean, rangy, very dark-haired, good-looking man."
Daniel Craig is set to reprise his role as the secret agent in Bond 24, due out in 2015.
