Andrea Bocelli suffers stage fright
Classical superstar ANDREA BOCELLI struggles to cope with the huge crowds who turn out to watch him perform, due to severe stage fright.
The Italian tenor started off his career singing in busy piano bars and admits he gets extremely nervous now he has to sing for hordes of dedicated fans who pay just to see him.
He tells the BBC, "I am very, very much nervous (sic). I suffer stage fright because it is so different from when I played in the piano bar, everyone was drinking and speaking, probably listening to the music, but basically doing different things.
"Now it is different because when I go on stage everyone is there just to listen to me, and I want to be sure to give my best."
