Mike Tyson recovering well after neck surgery
Former boxing champ MIKE TYSON "feels great" after undergoing neck surgery to fix a degenerated disc.
The fighter stunned onlookers on Saturday (29Sep12) when he was seen sporting a neck brace at a Las Vegas charity auction held by the World Boxing Council and Hublot Watches.
He went under the knife to have titanium pins inserted to support his neck as a result of an old spinal injury, which had been causing him pain.
A representative insists Tyson is enjoying a speedy recovery, telling TMZ.com, "It's a very common surgery, especially for athletes. He feels great... just has to wear the neck brace to keep everything stable for the next three weeks."
