Marlon Jackson shuts down Michael hologram rumour
MARLON JACKSON has pulled the plug on rumours his late brother Michael is set to appear in hologram form on the family band's tour.
The surviving Jackson 5 siblings are currently on a trek of the U.S., and rumours suggested they were planning to thrill fans by using virtual technology in a similar vein to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's set at the Coachella festival in California in April (12), where late rapper Tupac Shakur 'appeared' onstage.
However, Marlon is adamant the band will not try to bring the Thriller superstar back as a hologram until computer wizardry is more advanced.
He tells the New York Daily News, "That was a rumour; we would never do that. The technology would have to get a lot better."
