Brooklyn's latest move is straight out of Harry's playbook - his parents will be gutted
OPINION: Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz cannot seem to help themselves. It's getting desperate.

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn, 27, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 31, were pictured in all-black outfits attending his godfather, Sir Elton John's, star-studded Oscars viewing party after his brutal Mother's Day snub. The pair, who were photographed looking cosy on the red carpet, were in attendance among famous names such as Dua Lipa and her fiancé Callum Turner, Sharon Osbourne and Lola Young. The event happened to be held on Mother's Day, not long after Brooklyn brutally snubbed his own mother, Victoria (yet again), by paying tribute to his mother-in-law, Claudia Heffner Peltz, who turned 71 over the weekend.

He wasted no time sharing snaps with Claudia on his social media - but remained silent about his own mum amid the Beckham family's ongoing feud. Appearing to rise above the drama, Victoria, 51, and David, 50, did, however, pay tribute to all four of their children on Mother's Day - and yes, that included bickering Brooklyn.
It seemed the aspiring chef really wanted to rub salt in the wounds by hanging out with his parents' famous pals, such as Sir Elton, on Sunday. It's like he's taken a leaf straight out of Prince Harry's playbook, which the globe has been talking about ever since 'Megxit' back in 2020.
Harry and Brooklyn seem to have quite a lot in common. They were both born into wealth, their parents are British royalty (Posh and Becks are the undisputed King and Queen of the red carpet), and they married beautiful American women. And now, Brooklyn, like Harry, looks as though he wants to distance himself from his PR-machined famous family forever.
Their attempts to garner sympathy for their circumstances have tragically failed in recent years, as we mere mortals find it hard to relate to the inherently affluent pair who grew up in splendour. The end of the economic crisis still isn't in sight - and the two men clearly don't know how lucky they are to have never experienced financial troubles.

What's more, many of us have family drama, but cutting off our blood and telling the whole world about it is pathetic as a grown adult.
Harry and Brooklyn have essentially said they want privacy for themselves and their wives, yet they have aired their dirty laundry for the world to read in recent years. In contrast, their families have remained silent, and I, for one, feel the pair will live to regret ever opening up to Oprah Winfrey or sharing a lengthy Instagram post lambasting their relatives.
Let's face it, Brooklyn and Nicola will never have the same magnetism Posh and Becks had at their age, and Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will never be more popular than future King, Prince William and Kate Middleton (that's my opinion).
Brooklyn needs to stop with these petty digs aimed at his parents and stay out of the limelight before he completely ruins what little credibility he has left. He better not release a tell-all memoir like Harry's book Spare - it will not work in his favour.
