Mick Jagger’s fiancée 'physically attacked' in luxury London club
Mick Jagger's fiancée has said she was "attacked" in London.

Rolling Stones icon Mick Jagger's fiancée Melanie Hamrick claimed she was physically attacked in a London club in an Instagram post. The 38-year-old former ballerina said two people grabbed her from behind. Taking to her stories in the early hours of the morning, she detailed the assault which she said took place at an upmarket members' club in London.
"This is incredibly hard to share, but I was physically attacked at Annabel's Mayfair tonight," she wrote. "I’m so thankful to my friends for protecting me. "Two people grabbed me from behind, and thank god for good people who stepped in to help me. I’m shaken, sad and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way," she concluded the message.
Melanie and Mick, 82, have been together since 2014 and welcomed their son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, on December 8, 2016. The child was Melanie's first, but Mick's eighth.

The couple first met at a Rolling Stones gig in Tokyo in 2014 where Melanie was touring with The American Ballet Theatre.
She got to hang out backstage with friends where Mick spotted her and invited her to dinner.
The couple quickly started to spend more time together despite their significant 44-year age gap.
Since giving up performing she works as a writer, choreographer and producer for Live Arts Global. In 2023 she released an erotically charged book titled First Position, which her Mick has called "really saucy".

In 2023, it was claimed the couple had become engaged; however, Mick's team later denied the claims, despite wearing a ring on her engagement finger. Melanie has described it as a "promise ring".
She explained to People Magazine: "I mean, I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes. Is it for that finger? Yes.
"But are we like, horny teenagers where we’re giving each other… In my mind, it's a promise ring. We'll be immature and call it a promise ring."
