Linda Nolan has shared a big update amid her cancer battle. Speaking in her column in the Daily Mirror, the singer admitted that her tumours "remain stable" and that there is "no more of it."

Linda, 65, was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. She has been battling secondary breast cancer since 2017 and in 2020 it was revealed that a third recurrence of cancer in her liver had occurred.

She also announced last year that a tumour had been found on the left side of her brain. She has since started immunotherapy treatment.

In her column, she penned: "The tumours remain stable. The disease is still there, having a blast, refusing to call it quits for the night (an honorary Nolan). But there’s no more of it.

"I know I’m lucky. A couple of Fridays ago I found myself at the funeral of a dear friend who was only 61 and whose death came as a complete shock.

"Four of us Nolans worked with Keith Burns – who we christened Kitty – in Blood Brothers. He was in the original cast of Les Miserables and absolutely fabulous.

"For a minute there in church I wondered if I could actually go through with it. The thought of seeing the coffin suddenly seemed overwhelming. It’s not like I was thinking: 'This’ll be me in a week.'"

She also added that she is aware that "every second counts" and to "squeeze the most out of everything."

Linda isn't the only Nolan sister to have been affected by cancer. Bernie Nolan tragically died in 2013 at the age of 52 from breast cancer, whilst other sister Anne has been given the all-clear after being diagnosed three years ago.

Coleen revealed last year that she had been diagnosed with a form of skin cancer and said that the disease was spotted by chance.

Thankfully, her condition is treatable, but she felt "embarrassed" as it was "nothing" compared to what her sister Linda has been going through.
