Kelvin Fletcher's 'Strictly curse' admission as he opens up about marriage with wife
Kelvin Fletcher took part on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019, with he and partner Oti Mabuse winning the series and lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy.
After winning Strictly Come Dancing, Kelvin Fletcher opened up about defying the show's curse with his marriage to wife Liz. The 40-year-old took part on the 17th series of the BBC show back in 2019 and was partnered with Oti Mabuse, as the pair sailed all the way to the final and lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the actor expressed: "We look back on the whole Strictly experience fondly, one we experienced as a family together.
"We've been together for many years and we're so happy with each other, in our little bubble." Kelvin met Liz when he was nine-years-old and they got married in November 2015.
They share four children together, Marnie, Milo and twins Maximus and Mateusz. The so-called Strictly curse originated after several celebrities had split up with their partners after taking part on the show.

He also opened up about his time on the show, as the schedule and training meant he had less time with his kids, as he shared his joy about their farm: "After an intense four or five months of regular family life being disrupted, to be at the other end of the spectrum, where I'm constantly at home, in a weird way, it couldn't have come at a better time for me and Liz, and for the kids."
Kelvin and his family star in Fletchers' Family Farm on ITV, with the first successful series airing last year.
ITV recently announced the show has been comissioned for a second series and will follow Kelvin, Liz and their children once again as they navigate life on their farm.

The new series promises even more adventure as the family extend their livestock with Kelvin welcoming a herd of pregnant cows on the farm.
The family also tackle an emotionally charged lambing season as the kids step into the showring as they try their luck at the county fair.
Speaking about being picked up for another offering, Kelvin expressed: "We're incredibly excited to return to filming for the second series of Fletchers' Family Farm. The response from our viewers has been truly heartwarming and inspiring!"
Liz gushed: "It’s a genuine honour to invite the viewers back to our farm as we continue on this journey."
