He is charged with two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm and one of controlling and coercive behaviour. Hanson is also accused of two counts of assault by beating. He previously denied all of the charges.
The TV expert was dressed in a navy blue suit, white shirt and red tie and supported by his parents for the short hearing. He spoke only to confirm his name and enter his pleas during the 15-minute hearing.
The auctioneer was told he would face trial on all of the charges allegedly involving Rebecca Hanson on February 10, 2025, with a time estimate of seven to 10 days.
Mrs Hanson’s father was also in court for the hearing which was prosecuted by Sarah Allen.
Judge Smith told Hanson, of Ashbourne Road in Mackworth, Derby, he would face a trial lasting between seven and 10 days on February 10 next year.
Judge Smith said: “Mr Hanson, I am adjourning your case to trial next year, it's a day we can definitely say the trial will take place and that will be the tenth of February next year. This is a fixture and, apart from anything extraordinary happening, this will be the date."
