Damian’s biological father was actually a movie producer, the late Steve Bing, who died by suicide on June 22, 2020, aged 55.
Hurley had an 18-month relationship with the millionaire businessman in the early 2000s but split up following a dramatic paternity test which confirmed he was Damian’s dad.
It had been reported that he never met his son but Hurley confirmed following his death that the pair did meet.
She told YOU how they grew closer and had spoken on Damian’s 18th birthday.
Hurley added in 2020: “It had been great to connect again. We hadn’t been friends for a very long time, but about a year and a half ago he came back into our lives.
“It’s very sad… just terrible. Horrific that it happened but there is some comfort to know we had made up and there was no bad feeling.”
