Sting confirms plans for Broadway
Rocker STING is returning to Broadway - he's working on a musical for the New York stage.
The former The Police frontman, 58, has confirmed rumours he's teamed up with Tony Award-winning songwriter Brian Yorkie to pen his first Broadway project, but admits the final product is still a while away because they've yet to settle on one idea.
He tells People magazine, "We're in the very early stages of thinking about what a show could be like. I'm working with Brian Yorkie."
Sting is no stranger to the Broadway stage - he starred in a production of 3 Penny Opera in the late 1980s.
