BBC Breakfast: Naga jokes she and Louise upset the director
BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, 51, looked overjoyed as she posted a selfie on Instagram with a co-presenter. Sharing the cheery photo with her some 38,400 followers, she described the pairing as a “Christmas treat”.
Louise posted a charming selfie with her friend and co-presenter Naga Munchetty, 44.
She captioned the snap with: “Good morning, look who I have found on the #BBCBreakfast for a Christmas treat @bbcnaga.”
Both wearing sparkly Christmas sweaters, they looked very much in the festive spirit.
And her followers seemed just as delighted with the picture.
One user commented: “The dream team," as a second wrote” “Love watching you two together today!”
And a third commented: “Two beauties have a fabulous Christmas ladies xxx.”
On Tuesday’s episode, the pair got into a bit of a debate on the now viral video of a man on a swing and whether he is swinging backwards or forwards.
Louise ordered her some 171,9000 followers “not to listen” to Naga.
She tweeted: “Do not listen to @BBCNaga he is swinging towards the building!!!
“And any which way it’s been lovely to present @BBCBreakfast with her this morning.”
Their picture also comes a day after she had a very special guest indeed on BBC Breakfast.
Louise had her “naughty” dog Ruby, a black Labrador, on the set.

Sharing a picture of Ruby at the studio on Instagram she captioned the photo with: “Ahh so lovely to have Ruby come and visit #BBC Breakfast.”
Louise bought her pet pooch on for a segment in which they discussed how to keep pets calm and well behaved during the Christmas holiday period.
She explained: “The reason she’s in is because she was invited in because we’re doing a piece on how look after your pets, keep them calm at Christmas,” Louise explained, with the canine becoming very excited.
“She is two and she’s had quite a lot of Christmas things she shouldn’t have had already. See, she wants to eat the tree and me.”
And just a few minutes into Ruby’s but appearance, the adorable dog walked off the set.
A stunned Jon Kay remarked: “Oh, goodness me. We’ll hopefully have her back in a moment.”
Fortunately Ruby reappeared and they went onto their segment with animal behavioural experts.
BBC Breakfast airs on Wednesday at 6am on BBC One.
