Carol Vorderman practises CHAT UP lines with Kem Cetinay
Carol Vorderman has been exploring the world of dating on Lorraine and during her latest segment, she went to Kem, 22, for some tips.
The former Countdown presenter asked Kem to teach her how to flirt as she ruled out finding love on dating apps.
The Essex boy admitted he uses Instagram to meet women and once messaged someone on the social media site asking about her hair extensions to break the ice.
The pair then got into role play mode where Carol, 57, practised her own chat up lines on the reality star.
Would you like to come fly with me?
Setting the scene, Carol began: “So you’re a bloke, older than you obviously, in a bar lets say in America.”
Introducing herself to Kem, she said: “Hello,” before bursting out laughing in response to Kem’s US accent.
On a second attempt, she said to the star: “Hello, my name’s Carol.”
“I fly a plane,” she said, before giggling: “Would you like to come fly with me?”
Kem wasn’t falling for her chat up line and told Carol she needs to be “cool”.
Practising again, Carol could be seen sipping a drink as she got approached by Kem who said: “How’s it going, you alright?”
He continued their chat: “I’m actually training for a tennis tournament.”
“Is that a professional job?” Carol asked to which Kem replied: “I’m actually ranked second in the world at the moment.”
Carol continued their flirty exchange and said: “What’s your name?”
Kem jokingly responded: “Roger Federer.”
“Gosh, you’ve changed,” exclaimed Carol before adding: “I thought you were Swiss?”
“I was Swiss,” Kem laughed.
Carol has been married twice and she first tied the knot with Christopher Mather in 1985, before they separated a year later.
In 1990, Carol went on to marry Patrick King, before they split up 10 years later.
Carol and Patrick have two children together, daughter Katie, 27, and son Cameron, 21.
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 8.30am.
