Holly Willoughby children: This Morning star prepares to go ‘back to school’ on Instagram
HOLLY WILLOUGHBY took to Instagram today to share a snap which millions of people across the country could relate to - as the This Morning presenter revealed her children were getting set to go back to school following their summer holiday.
Holly Willoughby, 37, has three children with her 43-year-old husband Daniel Baldwin: nine-year-old Harry, seven-year-old Belle, and three year-old Chester.
Today, the This Morning presenter shared a glimpse at the family’s preparations for their return to school on Instagram - ahead of the new academic term beginning.
The capture showed three black backpacks, of which one had the initials “HJB”, standing for Harry James Baldwin.
One of the school bags had been accessorised with a furry key chain.
Next to the bags were two pairs of black school shoes.
Beside the upload, the ITV favourite wrote: “Hands up if your front door looks like this…”
The star’s 3.9 million Instagram followers rushed to respond to her post, with one person writing: “Mine for the first time, my ‘baby’ starts school next week and I think I’m more nervous than him!”
“I wish my front door looked like that I’m soooooo disorganised!! Right I’m off to sort it out,”(sic) replied another.
A third person penned: “I’ve got four kids… and erm no it doesn’t look like that.”
“Excited to see you back on the TV tomorrow,” exclaimed a fourth.
Meanwhile TV comedian Keith Lemon couldn’t resist sharing a cheeky joke, as he pretended to assume Holly had planned to wear the child-sized shows.
“I don’t wear children’s shoes,” he wrote.
I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.
Earlier this week, Holly was unveiled as a host for this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The presenter will join her friend and fellow ITV regular Declan Donnelly as they co-host the reality TV show together.
The news followed speculation about whether there would be a star standing in for Dec’s longtime TV sidekick Ant McPartlin, who is taking some time away from the spotlight as he focuses on his recovery following a second stint in rehab earlier this year.
The exciting announcement was made by Ruth Langsford on This Morning last week, as she told viewers Holly would be temporarily switching her spot on the sofa for the presenting gig in Australia.
In a statement, Holly said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure.
“I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.
“These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit…”
She continued: “Honestly, I’m a huge fan of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show!
“When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!”
Dec was clearly delighted with the star being given the huge job, stating: “I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year.
“She was at the top of my list and I’m thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.
“I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials!”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10.30am.
